Disney has a great line up of new movies releasing in 2009, including Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, Hanna Montana The Movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic and The Princess and The Frog.

CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC -

Release Date: February 13, 2009

Based on the best-selling “Shopaholic” novels by Sophie Kinsella, Confessions of a Shopaholic follows the hilarious adventures of a confirmed shopaholic who tries to hide her weakness for shopping when she lands a job as a magazine columnist offering financial advice.

RACE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN -

In a fun and thrilling adventure, Dwayne Johnson stars as a Las Vegas cab driver who teams up with two teens with supernatural powers to save the world by unraveling the secrets of Witch Mountain while eluding the government, mobsters and even extraterrestrials who want to stop them.

From Disney-Pixar comes UP, a comedy adventure in which 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen fulfills his dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America, only to discover that he has brought with him his biggest nightmare, a 9-year-old Wilderness Explorer stowaway.

TOY STORY (in Disney Digital 3-D) -

Release Date: October 2, 2009

The beloved motion picture Toy Story returns to the big screen – this time in Disney Digital 3-D! Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), the lanky, likable cowboy, and Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), the fearless space ranger, are a comically-mismatched duo who find themselves on a hilarious adventure-filled mission where the only way they can survive is to form an uneasy alliance.

Disney-Pixar’s Toy Story kicks off a Disney Digital 3-D Toy Story celebration, which includes Toy Story 2, opening February 12, 2010, and culminates in a brand new adventure starring Buzz and Woody: Toy Story 3 – in theaters June 18, 2010.

Walt Disney Animation Studios presents the musical The Princess and The Frog, an animated comedy that provides a modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.

The Princess and The Frog marks the return to hand-drawn animation from the revered team of John Musker and Ron Clements, with music by Oscar-winning composer Randy Newman (Monsters, Inc., Cars, Toy Story).

The Princess and The Frog features the voice talent of: Anika Noni Rose, John Goodman, Keith David, Jim Cummings and Jenifer Lewis.
