Open Auditions : America’s Got Talent Season 4

America’s Got Talent Season 4 Auditions begin on Thursday, January 29, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. Is your talent worth a million dollars? Strut your stuff at the Open Audition and find out!

America's Got Talent (C)The America’s Got Talent team will be hitting the road in search of the most talented people in America to perform on the fourth season of the show. They are looking for America’s most talented act, and anything goes - talent of any age or type is invited to audition - they are looking for singers, dancers, comedians, magicians, acrobats, animal acts…you name it!

The Open Audition Calls are your chance to meet the producers of America’s Got Talent and to perform your act for them. The event is videotaped and some of the acts will be invited to do on-camera interviews.

The America’s Got Talent Open Auditions will kick off in Los Angeles, California and will take place on the following dates (venue to be announced):

  • Thursday, January 29, 2009
  • Friday, January, 30, 2009
  • Saturday, January 31, 2009

The crew will then head to Atlanta, Georgia (venue to be announced) for an Open Call, which will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 and Sunday, February 8, 2009. The America’s Got Talent team will then hold Open Auditions in the following cities (dates and venues to be announced):

  • Chicago, Illinois
  • Miami, Florida
  • New York City, New York
  • Seattle, Washington
  • Washington, DC

To be eligible to audition, you must be either a US citizen, legal permanent US resident, or possess a legal US work visa. If you are under the age of 18, you must have permission from your parents or legal guardian. Your parent or legal guardian must also come with you to the audition. There are other legal requirements (including paper work for animal acts and physical or dangerous stunts), so be sure to read the fine print before you audition.

You will then receive up to date information on audition details, including audition city dates, locations and times, audition tips and other important information. If you want the America’s Got Talent team to get a taste of your act before meeting you in person, you may also upload a 2 to 3 minute video of your act for their review when you register.
