Free First Tuesdays at the Fleet
The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center offers free admission on the first Tuesday of each month, as part of Balboa Park’s Free Tuesdays initiative. The free admission offer extends to the exhibit galleries only; IMAX tickets are available at the discounted price of $8.50 per person.
Early Bird IMAX Special
Every Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 am, enjoy an Early Bird Special IMAX film for the discounted ticket price of just $8.50 per person. Your IMAX Early Bird Special ticket also includes access to all of the Fleet’s exhibit galleries.
Fridays at the Fleet
Every Friday night, classic IMAX films from the Fleet’s archives are paired with current hits for a full night of entertainment at a significantly reduced price. Visitors can experience up to four exciting films in the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center’s IMAX Dome Theater for a big discount. See one film for $8.50 and catch up to 3 additional films for only $5.00 each! Movies times for the Fridays at the Fleet event are 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Your Fridays at the Fleet ticket also includes access to all of the Fleet’s exhibit galleries.
Senior Mondays: Education Programs, IMAX Films and Exhibit Galleries for $6.00!
The first Monday of every month, Seniors 65 and better can enjoy the Science Center exhibits, an IMAX film and educational programming for only $6.00! Call Amanda Lincoln at (619) 238-1233 ext. 808 for details.
Exploring Ethics Series – First Wednesday of the Month
On the first Wednesday of every month, the Fleet partners with the Center for Ethics in Science and Technology, for a public discussion forum. This event is free, no admission is required. However, an RSVP is required, please call (858) 822-2647 to RSVP.
About the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center
The Reuben H. Fleet Science Center features more that 100 interactive science exhibits and is also home to the word’s first Imax Dome Theatre, which recently underwent a $2 million remodeling and now features a seamless, 76-foot screen – one of the first of its kind in an Imax dome!
Since its opening, The Fleet has been the best-attended museum in the city and a Top 10 San Diego Attraction. It is located in beautiful Balboa Park, home to many of the city’s museums, as well as attractive gardens, intriguing architecture and picturesque fountains.
