Random Film Festival : Free Family Film Festival at Regal and Edwards Cinemas

June 16 to August 12, 2009: Free, Family Friendly Films Every Tuesday and Wednesday at Select San Diego Regal and Edwards Cinemas

 

The Free Family Film Festival at Regal and Edwards Cinemas is back for another summer of free family entertainment! Get out of the heat and over to a participating San Diego (and nationwide) Regal, Edwards or United Artists Cinema for nine consecutive Tuesdays and Wednesdays and enjoy special screenings of G and PG rated films for free. Concession items will also be available, including a special “Kids Reel Meal” combo pack.

Regal’s Free Family Film Festival has been an annual summer event since 1991.”Now in our 19th year, Regal’s Free Family Film Festival has become an annual tradition for our moviegoers across the country. This year, more than ever, we are proud to offer families a weekly trip to the movies for free,” stated Dick Westerling, Regal Entertainment Group Senior Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. “During our Free Family Film Festival, we also provide grants for transportation to the movies for numerous Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. We certainly value our partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and the opportunity to help many children enjoy big screen entertainment for free.”

The Free Family Film Festival runs for nine consecutive Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting Tuesday, June 16, 2009 and ending Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Movies start at 10:00 am and tickets are available exclusively at the theater’s box office on the day of the show. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to theater capacity. In addition to the free films, many theatres will have other exciting events, displays and demonstrations during the Film Festival. Admission is free.
