September 24, 2009 – Cold Stone Ice Cream Gives Away Free Ice Cream To Help Make Wishes Come True

Be a part of the 8th Annual World’’s Largest Ice Cream Social at Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream Parlors in San Diego and across the country and show your support for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

On Thursday, September 24, 2009, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, every Cold Stone Creamery across the USA will be dishing up free ice cream in exchange for a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Guests will be treated to a very special “Make-A-Wish” ice cream creation of sweet cream ice cream mixed with brownie, sprinkles and caramel, created by 5-year-old “Junior Tastemaster” Jack, who is a Make-A-Wish Child.
The Cold Stone Ice Cream Social is the culmination of a month long fundraising event. During the month of September, every Cold Stone store will sell customizable paper wish stars for $1 each, which will adorn the walls of the store, to benefit the local Make-A-Wish chapter.

The 2009 Cold Stone Ice Cream Social is a family friendly event. Limit one free ice cream (3 ounce serving) per customer, in exchange for a donation. Offer valid on Thursday, September 24, 2009 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm only, while supplies last; no substitutions. Donations benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Enjoy, San Diego!
