Padres Tailgate Party : Phil’s Big BBQ at the Ballpark

August 1st, 2012

August 6, 2012 – Phil’s BBQ Fires Up the Grills for SoCal’s Largest Tailgate Party

You won’t want to miss out on Southern California’s largest tailgate party (nearly 3,000 fans came out to show their support at last year’s event!) complete with a family friendly kid zone, music, beer garden and tasty Phil’s BBQ!

For the fourth year in a row, Phil’s BBQ will be serving up its famed, mesquite-grilled BBQ at Petco Park on Monday, August 6, 2012. Guests will enjoy Phil’s chicken and ribs, two sides, Coca-Cola beverage, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream dessert, and a ticket to the 7:05 pm Padres vs. Cubs game.

Tickets can be purchased for just $25.00 (includes meal and game ticket) at either of the Phil’s locations, or online from the Phil’s BBQ website or the Big Brothers Big Sisters webpage. Season tickets holders can purchase a ‘meal only’ ticket for $20.00.  Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis; 100% of ticket sales go directly to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters ‘Operation Bigs’ Military Mentoring Program.

Phil’s Big BBQ at the Ballpark Tailgate Party takes place on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Petco Park’s Tailgate Park located at Imperial Avenue and 14th Street in downtown San Diego. Your ticket includes a famous BBQ meal and ticket to the 7:05 pm Padres vs. Cubs baseball game (‘meal only’ option also available). This is a family friendly event.
