On Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm foodies from all over San Diego will gather to indulge in tasty treats from over 50 of Downtown San Diego’s best restaurants.
The always exciting – and always sold out – Taste of Downtown is the perfect way to spend an evening out in Downtown San Diego while exploring and enjoying the diverse culinary culture of participating neighborhood restaurants; as you stroll through the unique neighborhoods of Downtown San Diego, over 50 restaurants will offer up samples of their house specialties. This is the perfect time to try that new dining hot spot you have been dreaming of sampling or even to stop by and visit an old favorite. Now in its 20th year, Taste of Downtown will feature your favorite eateries, classic bistros, tasty take-outs and showcase the newest dining hot spots.

RandomSanDiego.com is giving away two tickets to the Taste of Downtown 2012, taking place on Thursday, October 11, 2012! The two tickets will be awarded to one winner.
Here’s how to enter the Taste of Downtown 2012 Ticket Giveaway:
1. You must be subscribed to receive RandomSanDiego.com email updates to be eligible to enter the Ticket Giveaway. If you are not currently subscribed to receive email updates from RandomSanDiego.com, click here to become a Subscriber or, follow the link in the top right corner of this webpage.
2. Subscribers who would like to be entered into the Ticket Giveaway should send an email to RandomSanDiego {at} yahoo {dot} com with the subject line “I want to go to Taste of Downtown 2012”
3. Contest ends at 11:59:59 p.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012. The winner will be contacted via email no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
4. Your tickets will be waiting for you at Will Call on the day of the event.
The fine print: In this Giveaway, one winner will receive two tickets to the Taste of Downtown 2012 event which takes place on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Downtown San Diego. Tickets may not be resold and bear no cash value. This Giveaway is open to Subscribers to the RandomSanDiego.com email updates only; one entry per Subscriber. To be entered in the Giveaway, you must send an email to the address noted in #2 above using the subject line noted in #2 above. The eligibility period ends on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 11:59:59 pm. Winner will be selected at random and notified via email no later than 5:00 pm on October 9, 2012. No purchase necessary. Other restrictions may apply.
