Spend a night on Coronado Island indulging your senses and feeding your appetite with island fare in the ocean air. Wednesday, October 17, 2012, the island of Coronado will be host to foodies and gourmands alike with its second annual Taste of Coronado.
Take a culinary trip around the world one bite at a time at locally owned bistros offering full-bodied wines, all-American barbeque, spicy Thai, fresh seafood and more. All of these flavors will be laid out before you as Coronado prepares to tempt your taste buds in one of San Diego’s premier neighborhoods.
Stroll lazily along Orange Avenue or let the complimentary trolley deliver you to your next mouth-watering destination. However you choose to enjoy the Taste, be prepared for a night to remember!
The Taste of Coronado 2012 takes place on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets are available online at the Taste of Coronado 2012 website. Tickets are open to all ages, but guests must be 21 or over to participate in the alcohol tastings. On the day of the event, ticket holders are asked to bring their e-tickets to one of two ticket locations at either end of Orange Avenue – Rotary Plaza at the 1000 block of Orange Avenue or 101 B Avenue across from the Ferry Landing – to exchange their tickets for a tasting card. Guests can then start their Tasting tour from either location. Be sure to buy tickets early, as the event sold out last year.
